UNESCO Village of Villefranche-de-Conflent, France
Built in 1098, this medieval town of approximately 230 people is worth spending an afternoon walking through the streets. After spending time exploring the village and checking out the walls, arches, church, and buildings, it's easy to see why this is a UNESCO site.
