1,444 exquisitely carved columns hold up Ranakpur Temple, which also contains 24 domes. Each column is different from the next and depicts elephants, demons, geometric figures, snakes, and humans.
It was constructed from 1437 CE to 1458 CE.
Temple monks gave tours and blessings of “good luck, good life.” There was also an audio guide that Kirsi listened to in its entirety.
