Spotted Owlet
Keoladeo National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once the hunting grounds for the Maharajas, this 29 square kilometer park is home to over 370 bird species
We spent parts of 3 days exploring the park. One morning, we biked out to see the rare Sarus Cranes who are rather graceful flyers for being 1.8m (5'11") tall. Other days, we hired two rickshaw drivers to help us get around the park quicker and in style. They were particularly helpful in spotting birds as well.
In all, we saw over 70 species of birds and several other mammals including wild boar, nilgai, and a jackal.
