I was downloading some videos that we’ve just taken when I decided to flip through some old photos from our adventures while living overseas. This is a photo that we took during our trip to Varanasi, India.
We were in a vehicle and we passed this procession of women, in their beautifully dyed saris. I always feel uncomfortable photographing people and these two women just happened to look at me as I shot the photo. They didn’t seem to mind and it remains one of my favourite photos.
