Cirque du Soleil

Amazing, fabulous, awesome, incredible. Just a few words to try to describe our experience at our first Cirque du Soleil performance. Der and I went to see “Alegria” last night and we both were in awe of the performance. When we heard that it was coming to Santiago, we decided to get tickets as our anniversary gift. It was so worth the money we spent!! There are so many stunning parts to a Cirque du Soleil show because even though it is an artistic piece, the athleticism of the performers is incredible. The costumes, the makeup, the music, the props, the choreography and the acts all come together into an amazing show. It’s hard to choose which part is a favourite because every single part has so much in it. This is definitely not the last Cirque du Soleil performance we’ll go to! I even said to Der that if we lived back home, I’d consider taking a trip to Vegas every time a new Cirque show comes out. That’s actually the only reason I’d ever visit Las Vegas as the casino scene just isn’t my thing.
