Beautiful Day

Today is a gorgeous day here in Chile. It’s blue skies and warm air all around us. Der and Kirsi went to the beach today; they’re playing in the sand along the ocean right now. I would have loved to go but I honestly feel so exhausted that the thought of doing anything but sticking around home makes me even more tired. 😦 I think it’s just an accumulation of broken up sleep for about 2 1/2 months now. So, today I’m just doing the laundry that has piled up all week, playing with Aidan and hopefully getting some sleep. We did some floor play time and just came back from a walk so I’m hoping he’s down for a while. The biggest problem with me trying to sleep while he does is that he wakes up so often, usually with a burp or toot, that I don’t get much sleep. Let’s see how it goes this afternoon. 🙂
